Driving Range

Fox Hills offers the finest golf practice facilities in the area with a double-ended, pristine Driving Range accompanied by Practice Greens that can be enjoyed by novice and experienced golfers alike. To find one of our golf practice ranges, you may visit the Strategic Fox site (first clubhouse when you enter the property) or the Golden Fox side, located toward the end of the long drive (farthest South). When you visit the Driving Range facilities, you can expect:

  • Two practice ranges with short-, mid- and long-range targets
  • One putting green at the Strategic Fox and one putting green at the Golden Fox
  • Chipping & Pitching area
  • One practice bunker located at the Golden Fox range

  • Small approx 25 balls | $6
  • Medium approx 50 balls | $10
  • Large approx 75 balls | $14

You may visit the self-serve terminals located near the driving ranges to pay for a bucket of range balls, or visit us inside the Golden Fox or Strategic Fox clubhouses.

Short Game Area

Our best compliment to the Performance Center is our Short Game Area with 2 green complexes, 4 bunkers and a exclusive putting green. This spectacular teaching and practice area is now a "little gem" at our golf facility. The Short Game Area is unique and will provide an unrivaled short game practice arena to improve their game. The greens are designed to accommodate shots up to 60 yards. The undulated terrain offer up a variety of possibilities as well as bunker play, lob shots, bump and run and many other options. The bunkers have varying depths surrounding these pristine greens with hollows mowed at both fairway and rough heights. Imagination is the only limit to shot variety at the Fox Hills Short Game Area.

The Short Game Area is designed by Mike Nuzzo of Nuzzo Course Design and is Mike's first entry into the State of Michigan. Nuzzo Course Design strives for integrating originality, artistry, technical aptitude and business insight into every project.

Daily Fee use of the Short Game Area is available for purchase in any of the pro shops.
